Southern Crescent Equine Services recommendations and precautions for the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. Currently, SCES veterinarians and staff are working normal business and emergency hours to care for your equine health needs. In order to help us to stay healthy and be able to provide services, please note our updated protocols.
Farm Appointments – Please limit the people present at any appointment to a maximum of 2 people. We will no longer be shaking hands when greeting clients. Please respect social distancing and physically stay back 6 feet from the veterinarian and/or staff. If you or a family member has been sick, please leave the horse in a stall with the proper horse identified and have the vet call you from the barn during or after the appointment.
In-clinic appointments – When you arrive at the clinic, please stay by your horse trailer and call 770-252-6860 to let us know that you are here. Someone will come out to you when the veterinarian is ready for your appointment
Picking up medication/dropping off samples – Call ahead for anything that you need to pick up or drop off at the clinic. When you arrive at the clinic, please call 770-252-6860 and we will be ready to assist you. We can also mail medications if you prefer. Payment can be made over the phone via credit card.
